Enter The Dragon

A Year of the Dragon 2012 decoration made entirely of recycled plastic on a wire frame by some of the local school children in a school near Hester Street Park. Some of the teachers were hanging them in the park last Friday afternoon in preparation for the New Year.....

Candy Man @ the Village Halloween Parade

It must of taken him a very long time to paste on all those little candy nuggets to the mask and tie. The Village Halloween Parade never fails to amaze me with the level of creativity and effort on the part of the participants. Documenting it always puts me in a good mood for the Holidays that follow and I look forward to it every year! A Happy Turkey day to all who indulge ;-)

Two kids meet across a barrier @ #OWS

On my way out of the park after the concert I anticipated this moment was about to happen so I asked the parents of both kids if I could shoot their kids - both were very cool about it ;-) Perhaps it was also the vibe of the closing song of the Crosby and Nash concert we had all just heard and sang along to.....
